Your baking stays on your device. There is no account and no sign-in. Krumo sends one thing off the device: anonymous usage statistics, and only if you leave them on.
Your starter, its feedings and marked peaks, your bakes, and any crumb photos you add. All of it is written to the app's own database on your device.
Anonymous usage statistics, through Mixpanel, to see which parts of the app get used and where people give up. The whole list is: the app being opened, which onboarding pages were seen and whether they were skipped, a starter being created, a feeding logged, a peak marked, a bake logged or rated, a bake card shared, a calculator opened, reminders being turned on, an upgrade card being shown, the paywall being shown and where from, whether a purchase succeeded, and a rating prompt being requested. Alongside those we send the app version and the platform.
That is all of it. We do not collect your name, your email, an account, an advertising identifier, your location, or anything you typed. Your starter, your feed times, your temperatures, your notes and your photos never leave the device.
IP-based location is switched off at the source, so events arrive without a region attached, and the data is held on Mixpanel's EU servers.
Settings, under Privacy: Share anonymous usage. Turn it off and nothing is sent at all. The app works exactly the same either way.
Peak reminders are scheduled locally by iOS from times the app calculates on the device. Nothing about your starter leaves the phone in order to remind you.
A crumb photo you attach is copied into Krumo's local database and stays there. Krumo reads nothing from your photo library beyond the image you pick, and uploads none of it.
Krumo Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. Apple tells the app whether it is active. We never see your payment details and receive no personal information from the transaction.
Deleting the app removes everything Krumo has stored, and there is no copy of your log anywhere else. For the anonymous usage statistics, email the address below and they will be deleted from Mixpanel.
Krumo is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If a future version begins collecting anything beyond the list above, this page will say so before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match it.
